What do I get when I purchase a portrait?
All portraits are done by hand (not computer generated)
I use a combination of hard pastels, Panpastel and Pastel pencils on 9" x 12" pastel mat paper.
Completed pieces are coated using final fixative to prevent yellowing or smudging.
Portraits are unframed and protected by glassine paper cover.
How long does it take?
Drawings can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks to complete depending on how many orders I have but if you need it earlier, please let me know!What's the process for getting my portrait?
Step 1. Send photo.
Once payment is made, you can send me a photo of your pet via Janabeancreations@gmail.com.Photos must be of good quality to render a good portrait. I will let you know very early on in the process if your photos can work.
Step 2: Preliminary sketch is sent for your approval.
I will provide a photo of an initial sketch for your review. Please feel free to ask any questions or request changes. Once you approve the sketch, I will begin the final portrait.Step 3: Final portrait
I will send at least one progess photo for review as well as as 1 final photo before applying the fixative. I can make some changes with the progress photo but minimal changes once the final photo is sent.
Step 4: Shipping
All pieces are protected with glassine paper, bubble wrap and cardboard.Shipping is free on all orders in the US and Canada.
